Podcast Guesting Masterclass for Mission-Driven Service Leaders

Listen: Youtube | Apple Podcasts | Spotify

In this episode, Jacob talks with Yann Ilunga, a podcast expert, to educate fellow service leaders on how to get started with podcast guesting and the immense potential it can bring to their brands. This is Part 1 of a 2-Part series.

What you'll learn in this episode:

  1. The benefits of podcast guesting

  2. How to get started

  3. How to find podcasts to be featured on

Why is this important? The emotional needs of workers influence their ability to be engaged and productive at work. Empathy in the workplace is positively related to job performance. According to a study by Center for Creative Leadership, “Empathic emotion as rated from the leader’s subordinates positively predicts job performance ratings from the leader’s boss” Meaning, those managers who were rated as empathetic by subordinates were also rated as high performing by their own boss.

"If you're a service leader, then podcast guesting is a must, and there are a couple of things that I think are important to really pay attention to when you start with your podcast guesting journey." - Yann Ilunga

Yann Ilunga is a polyglot in lead generation and podcast consulting, and is an international speaker and podcaster. He has recorded over 400 podcast episodes. He helps coaches, consultants, freelancers and small business owners consistently get organic leads, appointments, and sales conversations through easy-to-follow systems. He also teaches them how to get exposure, build authority and attract prospects through podcasting, automated systems, and podcast guesting.
